"And thats a wrap..." our final pancake breakfast of the season was another great success. The weather co-operated and the community turn out was amazing. Our donations were overwhelming and the firefighters of McKellar made a generous donation from their 50/50 tickets. Thank you to all the volunteers and their hard work and all the community that came out to support the hall.

THIS YEAR'S FIRST SALE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! WE HAD ALOT OF DONATIONS OF REPURPOSED GOODS AND WE WERE ABLE TO CLEAR OUT OUR SHEDS. OUR GRAND TOTAL WAS OVER $2000. AND WILL HELP WITH THE PURCHASE AND INSTALL OF OUR NEW WELL . A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEERS THAT MADE THIS A GREAT SUCCESS THANK YOU JOYCE FOR ALL YOUR DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT .

PANCAKE BREAKFAST on Saturday June 29 was a huge success. Aside from the wet, rainy day we had a great turn out. We fed over 150 people and cooked up over 450 pancakes/sausage 🥞 HAPPY FACES AND FULL BELLIES

We all had a great toe tapping sing along fun time once again.

The CEMETERY BUS TOUR on OCTOBER 29TH was a huge success to cap off the Celebrations of Mckellar's 150th anniversary. Many enjoyed the history and sense of community. Refreshments were offered at the Hurdville hall. Thank you to all the volunteers and donations of baked goods.

Our final Pancake breakfast of the 2023 season was again a great success. We were a full house and welcomed newcomers to our humble Hurdville hall. The weather was a little less ideal for an outdoor yard sale so it is postponed to a later date (stay tuned) We would like to thank all those that have supported the hall throughout the summer months and a big thank you to all the volunteers that devote their time and energy to make each and every event at the hall a huge success. We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year at the opening of another summer season here in Hurdville.

END OF SUMMER PANCAKE BREAKFAST & BOTTLE DRIVE was on

SUN. SEPT 3rd and was great success. We fed 100 people with homemade pancakes and sausage on a beautiful morning. Thank you to all that donated and came out to socialize and support. The Hurdville Community Club greatly appreciates it. See you all in October.

MCKELLAR RIBFEST 2023

VOLUNTEERS ROCK

The McKellar first Ribfest was a busy one. There were over 600 lbs of ribs served with a variety of different sauces from 9 different groups in the community. The day was a hot one and a great turn out. Live music was provided by Harbor. We hope next year will be a successful one. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with set up and take down. A cold beer was definitely earned after that day.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST MAY 20TH We had another successful pancake breakfast July 2. We also collected alot of bottles/cans for the bottle drive. The garage sale was also a great fund raiser with lots of items going back into the community. Thank you to all the volunteers that make these events so successful. Thanks to those that came out and supported our efforts to making the hall a fabulous space for everyone. See everyone at the next one
